I recently put together this list of 25+ lucrative programs because I’m a huge advocate of generously paying programs. I always recommend them before popular ones like Amazon.

Don’t get me wrong, if you’re in a niche where you’ll be sharing things like books, clothes, and ingredients, it makes sense to also be an affiliate for sites where most people buy those things.

BUT I REALLY WANT TO PUSH YOU TO DREAM BIGGER

As creators juggling many projects at once, our time is precious. It takes effort to develop affiliate content and successfully promote products online.

Focusing affiliate activities around lucrative programs will ensure the time investment you make upfront builds meaningful passive income down the line.

These categories are your best bet for generous commissions:

• Online course and digital products – better profit margins allow creators to typically offer 30-50% commissions per sale
• Luxury products and equipment – high ticket items may have lower 1-10% commission rates, but the price point means bigger pay days
• Software – these companies offer large flat rate commissions or recurring revenue for years so you can build a reliable passive income stream that compounds as time goes on

You don't have to be a B2B creator to take advantage of lucrative program opportunities. B2C creators can leverage high-paying programs by creating behind the scenes content, such as:

• The must-have software I use to run my interior design business
• Luxury kitchen gadgets that save 10 hours a week
• This course helped me gain 5% muscle in 6 months

To find programs in those categories to promote, play around with variations of this search query in Google:

YOUR NICHE + [COURSE] OR [SOFTWARE] OR [EQUIPMENT] + AFFILIATE PROGRAM

You can also browse affiliate programs on various affiliate networks, like PartnerStack, ShareASale, and Impact, to find suitable programs in your niche.

TAKE ACTION:

If you have an affiliate program, brainstorm 1-3 ways to make your program more generous than competitors so affiliates prioritize yours. Here are a few ways to do that:

• Pay recurring revenue commissions, for at least 2 years up to the lifetime of a customer (example: ConvertKit)
• Pay a large, up-front commission based on the lifetime value of the customer (example: LiquidWeb)
• Offer bonuses, hybrid, and tiered structures so affiliates can earn in multiple ways (example: FreshBooks)
