Hey Reader,
My friend Zoe Linda sent out a lovely series of emails this past week, sharing 5 different spring cleaning tips for business owners who have affiliate programs. I loved the theme and how she used the series to kick off her annual spring cleaning sale.
I thought it would be fun to add a few more ideas to the list, some geared towards affiliates and others for affiliate managers.
5 SPRING CLEANING IDEAS FOR AFFILIATES & AFFILIATE MANAGERS

IF YOU'RE AN AFFILIATE:
1) Double check all your top trafficked affiliate links are working. They could be broken or pointing to the wrong page, losing you commissions.
>> Consider implementing a redirect tool for your affiliate links to save time when you need to update or swap links later. My faves are Lasso and Pretty Links.
2) Refresh your affiliate disclosure statement to make sure it's compliant with the latest FTC guidelines. Read a breakdown in my disclosure post.
>> I'm in the midst of updating my affiliate disclosure templates and guide to cover the recent FTC updates. The price is going up a bit, but you can grab it here for $11 β the update will be included free for all existing customers.

IF YOU HAVE AN AFFILIATE PROGRAM:
4) Update your affiliate onboarding materials. If you made any changes to your products, prices, or website in the last 6-12 months, chances are the welcome materials your new affiliates get need a refresh.
Zoe has an Affiliate Onboarding Kit launching later in June that would be perfect for this.
5) Analyze your top affiliates and come up with a list of ways to deepen your partnership. Consider going on their podcast, doing a joint webinar, contributing content to their site, and more.
To go deeper on this, consider JV Journey, Zoe's self-paced course that helps you create a streamlined system for managing profitable JV webinars.

P.S. If you have an affiliate program or client referral program that's gathering a light sprinkle of dust (or maybe itβs a heavy layer, no judgement!), definitely check out Zoe Lindaβs shop β their Affiliate Program Toolkit and Wizard for a Day service are great options.
HEY, I'M JUSTINE!
I discovered affiliate marketing in 2009 while trying to monetize my first blog. I learned and experimented so much that I sold another blog for 5 figures thanks to its affiliate income. Those experiences led to my first tech job, and I've been launching and managing affiliate programs in the SaaS space ever since. My work has helped thousands of affiliates earn passive income and generated $30MM+ in revenue for companies like FreshBooks and Gusto.
Currently, I manage ConvertKit's affiliate program and run this Brilliant Affiliate newsletter club. Here are a few ways I can help you:
